However, labeling every vivid dream as prophetic is a common pitfall. Consider the possibility of a prophetic dream only when the emotions are unusually intense, the dream type is unfamiliar, or the impression lingers long after waking. The healthiest approach treats prophetic dreams not as fortune-telling but as prompts to reassess real-life decisions and directions.
